Since I've been born, less and less woman sunbathe topless. And topless sunbathing always has interested me, not because of the bare breast but about the fuss it causes.

Throughout a school project I could make something about that interest.

The assignment we got: Make a video/film with the theme ‘Change’.

It could be a documentary, a feature film or an experimental video. I chose to make an animated kind of documentary, because I knew it would be pretty hard to get some bare breast on camera without people thinking I'm some perv. Next to that, I had to produce the film during winter, and then the topless ladies are hard to find at the Dutch beaches.

In the end, the video is more about equality than everything else.
